SILVIA TELLS HER STORY

Silvia does not explain herself. She reveals herself. She is face. She is root. She is voice. She speaks a language that cannot be translated. It must be passed through. Her language is unknown: it is not a sound to be understood, but a vibration to be felt. It is the ancient and future voice of all women — mothers and daughters of themselves.  The name Silvia has Latin origins, deriving from silva (“forest, woodland”) and literally means “she who comes from the woods.”
